At the moment I’m a bit too much of a Mixmag fan. They’ve been doing a lot of good things with their print magazine for a long time, even if I find the German edition a bit strange. Their Instagram Stories are often surprisingly well produced and I’ve recently started listening to their On Rotation podcast.
The two hosts also talk about the latest news from the American scene, which is more or less interesting. But it gets much more interesting with the interviews and track premieres. One of these premieres was Wizzard Drums by Chevals, which is not only available on Soundcloud, but also as a promo download on Bandcamp. If you’re wearing your spending trousers right now and find the track as driving and extraordinary as I do, don’t leave a zero in the “name your price” field!
