10 years ago Armand van Helden and A-Trak released the track Barbra Streisand as Duck Sauce. A funny anthem to New York, which I didn’t understand at the time. But the track was on heavy rotation at the time, because the two of them are a guarantee in their own right.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary, A-Trak gave a little background on the release of the track and especially on the making of the video clip. I like the fact that A-Trak has been talking out of both sides of his mouth for the last few months. I remembered how I cut an edit from the audio track of the video and the original song, which contains elements from this video that were not in the original. Especially the scratch solo, the talkbox and the “Here I aaaaaam” from the fake Barbra are great!
The video, with new backstory captions, has been available since yesterday to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
